Esomeprazole magnesium (L-thelyl-1-methyl-2-[[2-methoxy-ethyl]phenyl] derivative of the thelyl derivative) is used for the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux versed heartburn and acid reflux. It also treats gastric and duodenal ulcers, the signs of duodenal ulcer disease.
Esomeprazole 20mg Tablet is used for the treatment of proton pump inhibitors, ulcerative Colitis, Helicobacter pylori infection and the prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Acid Reflux is the persistent loss of stomach acid secretion that results from acid reflux. It is caused by the excess production of stomach acid by the gastric and duodenal lining.
Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) is a chronic and common condition that affects the lumbar spine and cranial nerves. It is caused by the narrowing of a blood supply to the gullet. It is usually idiopathic.

Nexium Control may not be suitable for everyone. If you have any of these conditions talk to your doctor or pharmacist: heartburn (acid regurgitation), ulcers (caused by ulcers related to heartburn or heartburn), stomach pain caused by Zidovudine, heartburn caused by Zidovudine, stomach ulcer caused by Zidovudine, or diarrhea caused by Zidovudine. If you are allergic to esomeprazole, you should not take esomeprazole magnesium. Stop taking control of your symptoms and get medical help right away if you notice any serious side effects.
Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets treats heartburn and acid reflux. They are suitable for short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.
Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the ingredients of this medicine.

Taking this medicine for 14 days may help you to control your symptoms. It may take 2-3 days for you to feel full and again 6-9 days after you take this medicine for full effect.
If you have symptoms for more than 14 days, stop taking Nexium and see your doctor immediately.
